PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A hard builder gel in a beautiful mocha shade with fine shimmer to complement a range of skin tones. This gel is self-levelling and richly pigmented to be used as a camouflage colour.  Formulated free of HEMA, HPMA and has a very light odour making it very comfortable to work with. With correct application, there is a very minimal chance of skin sensitivity if skin contact is avoided at all times with uncured products.

! As with all thicker based gel products we recommend a low heat mode to be used during curing for the maximum comfort of your client.

GELLIFIQUE® RECOMMENDATIONS

• Please ensure that you have the necessary training to work with this product
• Please always wear gloves to protect your hands when working with the product.
• We do not recommend using acetone to clean/prep the nails
• Use a lamp with a low heat mode (99sec) to reduce any discomfort for the client as some are more sensitive to heat spikes than others
• Use a bonder + base coat for better adhesion
• Use a responsibly purchased (reliable supplier) UV/LED lamp of at least 48W so the gel cures faster

HARD BUILDER GEL APPLICATION - NATURAL NAIL OVERLAY

STEP #1: NAIL PREP 

• Sanitise your own and your client's hands
• Do not use cuticle softening products or warm water 
• Gently push back the cuticles and "tidy up" the area using a soft buffer or a tool which you have been trained with
• File the nails into shape using a 100/180 grit nail file
• Gently buff the natural nail with a soft buffer to remove any shine
• Cleanse the nails with Isopropyl Alcohol or specialised cleanser
• Apply the Gellifique acid -free Bonder

• Apply a thin layer of Gellifique Microcrystal Base Coat or Rubber Base Coat in medium texture and cure with a responsibly purchased UV/LED lamp of at least 48W for 60 seconds / 120 seconds with UV lamp. 

STEP #3: SECOND LAYER

• Apply a medium-size bead of Gellifique Hard Builder Gel spreading it side to side and dragging away from the cuticle area. Please avoid thick build up around the free edge and the cuticle area as this will result in the product lifting later
• Seal the free edge
• We recommend curing the Gellifique Hard Builder Gel on a low heat mode (99seconds) to avoid any discomfort for the client as sensitivity to heat spikes varies in people
• Build and cure one nail at a time, turning the hand upside down to allow the gel to self-level and create an apex if necessary
• Cure each coat with a responsibly purchased UV/LED lamp of at least 48W for 60 seconds / 120 seconds with UV lamp

STEP #4: THIRD LAYER

• Please follow the above process one more time until you are happy with your result

STEP #5: REFINE

• Wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol
• Shape the nail using a Gellifique 100/180 grit nail file
• Buff into shape using a Gellifique 120/180 grit buffer and concentrate on reducing the product around the cuticle area and the free edge
• Remove any remaining dust with a duster brush

STEP#6: TOP COAT

• Apply a Gellifique Microcrystal Top Coat, Gellifique Rubber Top Coat or Gellifique Velvet Matte Top Coat
• Cure the top coat of your choice using a responsibly purchased UV/LED lamp of at least 48W for 60 seconds/120seconds with UV lamp
• No need to wipe or cleanse after curing as all Gellifique top coats are tack free

 HARD BUILDER GEL - REBALANCE

STEP #1: TOP COAT & COLOUR REMOVAL

• Sanitize your own and your client's hands
• Using an E-file (if you are E-file trained) or a 100/180 grit file remove the Gellifique top and colour coats in order to expose the Gellifique Hard Builder Gel underneath these products
• Remove any dust and wipe with Isopropyl Alcohol

STEP #2: NAIL PREP

• Do not use cuticle softening products or warm water
• Gently push back the cuticles and "tidy up" the area using a soft buffer or a tool which you have been trained with
• Ensure that all product which has lifted has been removed using a Gellifique 120/180 grit buffer
• Reduce the length of the nails if required
• Ensure that the nail surface is smooth and even
• Clean the nail with Isopropyl Alcohol
• Apply acid-free primer or regular primer depending on the client's nail type

STEP #3: HARD BUILDER GEL APPLICATION

• We recommend curing the Gellifique Hard Builder Gel on a low heat mode (99seconds) to avoid any discomfort for the client as sensitivity to heat spikes varies in people
• Apply a thin layer of Gellifique Hard Builder Gel and cure with a responsibly purchased UV/LED lamp of at least 48W for 60 seconds / 120 seconds with UV lamp
• Apply a medium-size bead of Gellifique Hard Builder Gel spreading it side to side and dragging away from the cuticle area. Please avoid thick build up around the free edge and the cuticle area as this will result in the product lifting later
• Seal the free edge
• Build and cure one nail at a time, turning the hand upside down to allow the gel to self-level and create an apex if necessary
• Cure each coat of gel with a responsibly purchased UV/LED lamp of at least 48W for 60 seconds / 120 seconds with UV only

STEP #4: SHAPE

• Wipe the nail with pure Isopropyl Alcohol
• Refine using a Gellifique 100/180 grit file concentrating on reducing product around the cuticle area and free edge to create a smooth surface
• Gently buff using a Gellifique 120/180 buffer

STEP #6: If you are going to apply gel polish colour please follow the instructions for gel polish colour  application

STEP #7: TOP COAT

• Apply a Gellifique Microcrystal Top Coat, Gellifique Rubber Top Coat or Gellifique Velvet Matte Top Coat
• Cure the top coat of your choice using a responsibly purchased UV/LED lamp of at least 48W for 60 seconds/120seconds with UV lamp
• No need to wipe or cleanse after curing as all Gellifique top coats are tack free
